It was 28 years ago today, April 13, 1992, that arguably one of the best Legend of Zelda games made its way onto store shelves in North America. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past launched on the SNES and helped change action/adventure games forever.
You as Link (or whatever name you want to give yourself, there’s no spoken dialogue), are tasked with saving Princess Zelda from the evil wizard Agahnim by finding the three pendants across Hyrule and unsheathing the Master Sword from the stone in the Lost Woods. But just when you think the game is over, you’ve suddenly got an entire second half to play as you make your way towards the final confrontation with Ganon.
Check out the retro, totally 90’s trailer for the game above, and let us know your favorite memory of Link to the Past.
